During this 2-day workshop, Katie McCamant and David Kelley will lead us through the development process, including costs, financing, timelines, decision-making, consultants, risks and benefits so that attendees can make an informed decision about whether this community is right for them.

This weekend gives you an opportunity to get to know the other people involved. We will begin to build relationships and shape the values and culture of our community. This workshop opens the door to owning a home in a community you love. 

Katie McCamant is co-author of the book “Creating Cohousing” and has 30 years of experience guiding groups through the process of building relationships while building a physical neighborhood.

David Kelley, Cohousing Houston's development partner, has extensive commercial real estate development experience having previously served as President and COO of MetroNational.  David’s background includes planning, development and financing of over 2 million square feet of commercial real estate including multi-family and senior living projects.
