This summer series will give you all the information

you need to decide if cohousing is the right fit for you.

Starts July 5th

Ends August 11th

On Zoom

$150 per household (max. 2 people)

1-2 hours a week time commitment

Week 1 - Orientation

Week 2 - Deep Dives (Design, Finance, Development)

Week 3 - Attend a team and all member meeting

Week 4 - Check-ins with team and other Explorers

Week 5 - Get your remaining questions answered

Week 6 - Wrap up and Next steps

This 6-week Explorer series of information and Q&A sessions is designed to orient you to cohousing as a concept, show you how our community is coming together in Houston, and most importantly give you a chance for us to meet you.

By the end of this workshop you should have the information you need to determine whether cohousing might be a part of your future plans and whether our Houston project is something you would like to join.

SERIES CALENDAR

Week 1

July 5 3-5pm OR July 7 5-7pm OR July 10 9-11am

New Explorer Orientation / Meet team members / Obtain access to internal communications, meetings and information repository / Suggested reading and videos

Week 2

July 12 6-8pm

Deep dive into design, finance and development in breakout groups with Design Team, Finance Team and Developer

Week 3

July 22 and July 23 evenings

Select sub-team meeting(s) to observe on Thursday and then join the monthly All Member & Explorer meeting to connect with everyone. This will give you a feel for the group and how we interact with each other.

Week 4 & 5

July 28th & August 4th .. and ad hoc

Check in with the team and each other to make sure you are getting all your questions answered

Week 6

August 11th

Wrap it up with a review of what you've learned and the next steps to becoming a member, if this looks like it might be in your future
