The veg garden

If you look at the left foreground in the picture in the Geocache post January 12, 2024, that's where our vegetable garden will be. Below ground is our enormous water retention tank, it's one of the first things that went in. It'll help the area deal with flooding by slowing down the release of rainwater into the storm drain.

On the surface will be our vegetable garden, almost certainly including raised beds. We spotted some really good looking ones, and very productive, at the Nice Winery. Yes, that's what it's called. And yes, a tiny vineyard inside Beltway 8, go figure. Sandra is in the picture for scale. The raised beds seemed worth copying.
